CASL Compliance

Effective date: May 12, 2026  |  Last updated: May 12, 2026

First Nation Approvals, operated by Drive Nation Auto Group, is committed to complying with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, S.C. 2010, c. 23 (CASL). This policy explains how we obtain consent before sending Commercial Electronic Messages (CEMs) and how you can withdraw consent at any time.

1. What Is CASL?

CASL is Canadian federal law that governs the sending of Commercial Electronic Messages (CEMs) — including email, text/SMS, and other electronic communications — to individuals in Canada. CASL requires that senders have express or implied consent from recipients before sending CEMs, include required identification information in each CEM, and provide a simple and functional unsubscribe mechanism in every message.

2. Types of Consent We Rely On

Express Consent

When you submit an application through this website, you provide express consent to receive communications from First Nation Approvals relating to your vehicle financing application, including:

  • Follow-up calls, emails, and text messages regarding your application status
  • Information about available vehicle inventory and financing options
  • Requests for additional documentation required by lending institutions

This consent is obtained through the application form, which includes a disclosure statement at Step 1 (vehicle selection). By clicking "Continue" at Step 1, you acknowledge this consent.

Implied Consent

Where you have an existing business relationship with Drive Nation Auto Group — for example, as a prior customer — we may rely on implied consent for a period of two (2) years from the date of the most recent transaction, consistent with CASL section 10(9).

3. What Commercial Electronic Messages We Send

Under express consent, First Nation Approvals may send you:

  • Application status updates and next-step instructions
  • Financing offers and approval details from lenders in our network
  • Vehicle availability notifications relevant to your stated preferences
  • Follow-up communications if you did not complete your application

We do not send unsolicited commercial email or third-party advertising.

4. Unsubscribe — How to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time by:

  • Clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included in every email we send
  • Replying STOP to any text/SMS message we send
  • Emailing us at areeb@drivenationautogroup.ca with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line
  • Calling us at during business hours

We will process all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days as required by CASL. Note that withdrawal of consent may limit our ability to communicate with you about your active financing application.

5. Required Sender Information

Every Commercial Electronic Message we send includes:

  • The name of First Nation Approvals and Drive Nation Auto Group
  • Our mailing address in Langley, BC
  • A working unsubscribe mechanism
  • Contact information to reach us

6. Record-Keeping

We maintain records of consent obtained from applicants, including the date, time, and method of consent. These records are retained for a minimum of three (3) years following the expiry or withdrawal of consent, consistent with CASL requirements.

7. Questions or Complaints

If you believe you have received a message from us in violation of CASL, or if you have questions about this policy, please contact:
