First Nation Approvals is operated by Drive Nation Auto Group ("we," "us," or "our"), a licensed motor vehicle dealer located in Langley, British Columbia. We are committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who contacts us or submits an application through this website.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA), RSBC 2003, c. 63, and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable.
1. What Information We Collect
When you submit an application through this website, we collect:
- Identity information — first name, last name, date of birth
- Contact information — email address, phone number
- Financial information — self-reported monthly income, employment status, down payment range, monthly budget
- Housing information — current address, duration at address, rent or own status, monthly housing payment
- Credit information — self-reported estimated credit score range
- Vehicle preferences — type of vehicle sought, trade-in status
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the URL you came from
We do not collect your Social Insurance Number (SIN) at the application stage. A SIN may be requested by the lending institution at a later stage of the approval process, not by First Nation Approvals.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information you provide to:
- Evaluate and process your vehicle financing application
- Match your application with suitable lenders in our network
- Contact you to discuss financing options and vehicle availability
- Comply with our obligations under the Motor Dealer Act (BC) and applicable consumer protection legislation
- Improve the functionality and user experience of this website
- Send you follow-up communications related to your application (see also our CASL Compliance policy)
3. Consent
By submitting an application through this website, you expressly consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at areeb@drivenationautogroup.ca. Withdrawal of consent may limit our ability to assist you with your financing application.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share your personal information with:
- Lending partners — Canadian lending institutions in our network, solely for the purpose of evaluating and arranging vehicle financing on your behalf
- Service providers — third-party technology providers who assist in operating this website and processing applications, bound by confidentiality agreements

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Soft Credit Inquiries
At the application stage, First Nation Approvals performs a soft credit inquiry only. A soft inquiry does not affect your credit score and does not appear on your credit report as a lending inquiry. A hard credit inquiry will only be conducted by a lending institution, and only with your explicit consent, at a later stage in the process.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for a period of seven (7) years from the date of your application, consistent with requirements under the Motor Dealer Act (BC) and applicable record-keeping obligations. After this period, personal information is securely destroyed.
7. Data Security
We protect your personal information using industry-standard security measures, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure data storage. No method of electronic transmission is completely secure; however, we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Your Rights Under BC PIPA
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information
- File a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia if you believe your privacy rights have been violated
