Lender Disclosure

This Lender Disclosure is provided by First Nation Approvals, operated by Drive Nation Auto Group ("we," "us," or "our"), a licensed motor vehicle dealer in Langley, British Columbia. This disclosure is required under the Motor Dealer Act (BC), the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BC), and the Cost of Credit Disclosure Act (BC).
1. Our Role: Financing Intermediary
First Nation Approvals is a vehicle financing intermediary, not a direct lender or bank. We facilitate the connection between consumers seeking vehicle financing and Canadian lending institutions ("lenders") in our network. We do not advance funds, set final interest rates, or determine final loan terms — those decisions are made by the lender.
By submitting an application through this website, you authorize First Nation Approvals to submit your application information to one or more lending institutions for the purpose of obtaining financing for a motor vehicle.
2. On Approved Credit (OAC)
All references to financing, monthly payments, approval rates, and terms on this website are On Approved Credit (OAC). This means all financing is subject to:
- Credit adjudication by the lending institution
- Verification of income, employment, and identity
- Lender-specific eligibility criteria
- Vehicle eligibility requirements (year, mileage, condition)
- Applicable provincial and federal regulations
Approval is not guaranteed. Submitting an application does not create an obligation for any lender to approve financing.
3. Interest Rates and APR
Interest rates offered by lenders in our network vary based on applicant creditworthiness, income, loan-to-value ratio, vehicle type, and current market conditions. We cannot quote or guarantee specific interest rates prior to credit adjudication.
Indicative rate ranges across our lender network:
- Near-prime / standard credit: Approximately 7.99% – 14.99% APR
- Sub-prime / bruised credit: Approximately 14.99% – 29.99% APR
- Higher-risk / post-bankruptcy: Rates vary; specific terms disclosed at approval
These ranges are provided for general information only and do not represent a commitment or offer. The actual Annual Percentage Rate (APR) applicable to your loan will be disclosed in writing by the lender before you sign any financing agreement, as required by the Cost of Credit Disclosure Act (BC).
4. Dealer Compensation
Drive Nation Auto Group may receive compensation from lending institutions in connection with financing arranged through First Nation Approvals. This compensation may take the form of a finance reserve, referral fee, or other arrangement. This compensation does not increase the cost of financing to you beyond the rate disclosed in your credit agreement.
You have the right to arrange your own financing independently and to compare offers from other lenders before accepting any financing arrangement.
5. Credit Inquiries
First Nation Approvals conducts a soft credit inquiry at the application stage. A soft inquiry does not affect your credit score. A hard credit inquiry will only be conducted by a lending institution, with your explicit consent, after you have been presented with and agreed to proceed with a specific financing offer.
6. Your Rights Under BC Law
Under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BC), you have the right to:
- Receive a written copy of any credit agreement before signing
- Review all terms, fees, and the total cost of borrowing before signing
- A cooling-off period as specified in applicable BC regulations
- Cancel a motor vehicle purchase agreement within two (2) days of signing in certain circumstances as provided under the Motor Dealer Act (BC)
- File a complaint with Consumer Protection BC if you believe your consumer rights have been violated

8. Motor Dealer Licensing
Drive Nation Auto Group is licensed under the Motor Dealer Act (RSBC 1996, c. 316) and registered with the Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia. Our VSABC registration number is available upon request. Licensing information may be verified at vsabc.ca.
